Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Reliability Engineer to join their food manufacturing facility. As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the reliability and performance of their food production equipment and processes. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and address potential equipment failures and inefficiencies, implement preventive maintenance strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and reliability engineering within the food manufacturing industry, along with a solid understanding of equipment reliability principles and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and maintenance, to identify and assess reliability risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze equipment performance data, including downtime, breakdowns, and maintenance records, to identify patterns, trends, and recurring issues.
- Conduct root cause analyses for equipment failures and develop effective corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences.
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance program, including the development of maintenance schedules, procedures, and checklists.
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians and operators to ensure proper execution of preventive maintenance activities and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies and predictive maintenance techniques, such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and oil analysis.
- Perform failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of maintenance and operations personnel in areas of equipment reliability and maintenance best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and reliability engineering within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of equipment reliability principles, maintenance strategies, and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Proficiency in utilizing reliability tools such as FMEA, RCM, and condition monitoring technologies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is highly desirable.
